We hold what it takes to deliver a box.
Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared with anyone who isn’t part of getting the fruit to your door.
What we collect, and why.
Your name
So the box has someone’s name on it and we know who we’re talking to.
Your phone number
It is how you sign in, and how you find out your box is on its way.
Your address and pin code
To deliver the box, and to work out where the route goes next.
Your never-list
So those fruits never go in your box. It is the only instruction we act on.
Which size you chose, and what you paid
To pack the right box and to keep your credits straight.
The photos you send with a claim
To replace the piece, and to work out which supplier keeps failing.
Even if you don’t finish.
Signing up asks a few questions one screen at a time, and each answer is saved as you give it. If you stop halfway, what you had answered by then stays with us — it is how we find out which question is losing people. If you got as far as your phone number, that is part of it.
Every one of those unfinished records carries a date a year out, after which it is deleted. You can ask us to delete yours sooner and we will.
What we never see.
Your card, UPI ID or bank details. Payment is handled by a licensed payment provider, on their page, and what comes back to us is whether it worked. We could not show you your own card number if you asked.
Who else touches it.
The database
A hosted database provider stores it. Nobody outside this business has an account on it.
The payment provider
Sees what it needs to take the money, and holds the payment details we never get.
Whoever carries your box
A name, an address and a phone number, for that Saturday. Never your never-list, never what you paid.
What you can ask for.
A copy of everything we hold about you. A correction. Deletion. Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, those are yours to ask for, and asking costs nothing.
Email thefruitguarantee@gmail.com and say which. We’ll do it and tell you it’s done. If you cancel, we keep only what we are required to keep for tax and accounting, and delete the rest.
Other ways to reach usTwo things we don’t do.
We don’t sell or rent your details to anybody, for any amount. And this isn’t a service for children — if you’re under 18, a parent should be the one signing up.
